Western Red Cedar (WRC) is one of the world’s most unique softwood species, renowned for its natural beauty and durability. WRC is milled in a variety of ways making it an ideal garage door cladding.
For a backing or “facing” we use Vertical Joint boards (V.Joint) or battens and for design (Planton) we use timber boards. WRC can be stained or oiled leaving a beautiful natural timber look enhancing the unique colouring and grain structure of individual pieces or it can be painted. We offer the option of having your door delivered and installed primed and ready for final painting.
